One the first view agriculture projects are looking quite similar, but in fact there are to find many different kinds of fruits, vegetables, grains and others (e.g. potatoes, beans, peas, cassava, pineapple, bananas, mangos, avocados, maize, etc.). Mostly the fields are mixed, so that different types of plants standing next to each other.
Often the fields, which are used for the agriculture projects are church land and the group can use the area for free, or for small charges. The fields are divided among the members, so that every member is responsible for one part. The ones, who are not working on the field, support the Project by giving money. Primary the food which they get from the work goes to the members, the remains are sold on the market and the earned money goes into the group found.
The biggest challenge are the, especially in the last years, changing climate conditions, e.g. long droughts. Also when it rains, it can rain very heavily and for a long time which can destroy the fields. Another Problem is a lack of expertise.
